Hillsboro - Clean Chambers, 67, a Warren County businessman for many years, died Sunday while visiting relatives at West Lebanon. He had been in ill health for the past 4 years and had made his home here for three years. He owned and operated Chambers Coal Company at West Lebanon for 25 years. A 1930 graduate of West Lebanon HS, he was employed for six years by a rural electric company. He also spent 5 years with the Warren County Highway Dept. He was a member of West Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Born July 24, 1911, in Warren County, he was the son of John K. and Nellie Moore Chambers. He was married June 29 1935 at Williamsport to Vivian P. Cunningham. She survives. Other survivors are two sons Lloyd E. of Hillsboro and Leroy E. of Millington, Ten; a sister, Margaret Steele of Attica, six grandchildren and one great grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fisher Funeral Home at West Lebanon with Rev Gregg Curtis officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. -- kbz
