CHANDLER, Mabel Jackson Boyd

  Mabel Boyd Chandler of Indianapolis, age 80, died Sunday, June 19, in Cedar Crest Nursing Home at Indianapolis. She was born in Parke County, September 24, 1902, the daughter of Henry and Eva Hodson Jackson. She first married Lee Boyd in 1918 and later married Alfred Chandler, who survives. Mrs. Chandler had been a resident of Indianapolis since 1941 and was employed for 20 years by the P. R. Mallory Company.

  Survivors also include two daughters, Doris Baxter of Indianapolis and Maxine Boyd of Danville; a son, Everett Boyd of RR 2, Kingman; a sister, Iva Marshall of RR 2, Kingman; 13 grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Paul Ray officiating. Burial was in Sandhill Cemetery near Howard. – thanks so much to S
