Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church for Mrs. Margaret Hunnings Chandler, who died at Indiana Central Hospital, Indianapolis. Rev. JC Whitson, pastor of church was in charge, and burial was in Newtown Cemetery. Mrs. Chandler was born in Newtown Oct 10, 1858. Her husband, John Wesley Chandler died in 1918. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mattie Jett, Kokomo. The deceased was the only surviving member of 12 children.
