CHAPMAN, Harry A.

Harry A. Chapman of Bloomingdale, age 72, died Saturday afternoon, May 30, in Parke County Nursing Home. He was born in Penn Township, Parke County, January 23, 1909, the son of Frank B. and Sophie Apking Chapman. September 30, 1931, he married Mary Nielsen, who survives. A member of Bloomingdale United Methodist Church and Ironworkers Local of Lafayette, he was employed as an ironworker in Lafayette before retiring.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lois Foley of Hillsboro; three sons, Robert H. of Culpepper, Virginia, Thomas B. of Covington and Charles C. of Perrysville; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Dugdale; and 11 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Tudor-Miller Memorial Chapel in Rockville with Rev. Carl Bosse officiating. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery at Rockville. – thanks to S
