WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. - Dallas E. Cherry, of Kramer, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1971 at Community Hospital. He had been a patient since July 11 and had been ill a year and a half. Born in Hidalgo, Ill., Feb. 28, 1902, he was the son of Elga and Lou Oma Myers Cherry. He resided in Akron for four years and moved to Warren County in 1940. He had resided with cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Annin of Kramer. He was a farmer and a truck driver. While residing in Akron, he hauled freight for the B and O Railroad. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Hidalog. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ruth Jackson of Hidalgo; a niece and a nephew. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at the DeSutter Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry "Bud" Stedham of Veedersburg officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. - jlr
