Mrs. Ruth L. Christman, 68, wife of Eugene J. Chrisman 1825 Elmore St died at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital after a few weeks' illness. She was born near Mellott in Fountain County Sept 17, 1891, a daughter of Bert and Dicey McCallum Crumley. She married Mr. Chrisman in Covington Sept 24, 1910. Surviving besides the husband are four daughters: Mrs. Morris Stull, Mrs. Laurence Baker, Mrs. Lewis Miles and Mrs. Dale Friend and two sons, George and Robert L. all of Crawfordsville; the mother, Mrs. Dicey Crumley of Hillsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Helmick of Hillsboro and Mrs. George Bayless of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Roy and Ward Crumley of Veedersburg and Fred W Crumley of Virginia and 15 grandchildren. One son and two grandchildren preceded her in death. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating and burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
