ANNA HALL CLARK

Source: Grace Alward Newnum obituary collection

Mrs. Anna Clark, wife of Hardy H. Clark died May 1. It proved to be one of the saddest funearls that has been for an age. Mrs. Clark leaves a husband and six little ones, the oldest not more than 10 or 12 years of age and the youngest an infant. The choir sang, "No More Goodbyes." There was not an eye that was not flooded with tears. Rev. Cartwright consoled the relatives and friends with a very fervent prayer and a few touching remarks on their loss and Annie's eternal gain after which Tom Fishero took charge of the remains and a large concourse of sympathizing friends followed her to her last resting place in the Cooper Cemetery on May 2.
