Edna S. Clark, 87, formerly of 1102 S. Council St., Attica, died at the Americana Health Care Center, Indianapolis, where she had been a resident for one year, Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 5:38 p.m.  She had been in failing health for one year.   She was born in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., Aug. 28, 1897, the daughter of Harry and Emma Shoen.  She had lived in Attica for several years prior to moving to Indianapolis in 1982.  She was a graduate of Hastings-on-Hudson High School and was a housewife.  She was a member of the Episcopal Church in New York.

    She was married Oct. 15, 1919, at Hastings-on-Hudson, to Reid William Clark, who preceded in death on April 4, 1974.  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Ellen Rabb, Indianapolis; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one brother.   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with visitation one hour prior to service, with the Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Those so desiring may contribute in memoriam to the American Lung Association.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home. – thanks so much to “S” for all her wonderful typing

     Funeral services for Edna S. Clark, 87, formerly of 1102 S. Council St., Attica, who died at the Americana Health Care Center, Indianapolis, where she had been a resident for one year, Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 5:38 p.m., were held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, Saturday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.      The selection of “How Great Thou Art” was played.  Those who served as pallbearers were Phil Rabb, Ray Allen, John Busic, Harold Dotson, Harold DeBord, and Robert Maus. -S
