Bloomingdale - James (Ed) Clark (died 3-1-1967) 77 retired coal miner died at 3:05 a.m. Wed in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill where he had been a patient 12 hours since suffering a stroke. A native of Parke County, he was the son of James and Mary German Clark and was born Feb 12, 1890. He married Mabel Barker in October of 1912 . She died in July 1960. Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. (Mildred0 David Blacketer of Mullan, Idaho, Mrs. (Helena) Otis crowder of Rt 1, Bloomingdale and Mrs. (Leoma) James Harvey of Rt 1, Kingman; a son, James E. Clark, Jr of Kingman a half brother Claude Clark; step brother, Guy Shoaf, step sister Mrs. Edna Asa Oblinger all of Veedersburg and 17 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. A sister, half sister and grandchild are deceased. Funeral rites are set for 2:30 p.m. Friday at Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville with Rev. Harold Kollmeyer officiating and burial in Centennial Cemetery north of Kingman. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
