CLARK, Morris A. - WWI Navy

Morris A. Clark of Attica, age 72, died Sunday morning, July 19, at his home. He was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky, January 16, 1909, the son of Dillard and Mauda E. Froedge Clark. May 2, 1944, he married Mary F. Hidy, who survives.

  Clark was a member of Attica First United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Order of the eastern Star and Masonic Lodge, of which he as a past master. He was also a member of Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Shrine, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired in 1979 after 53 years with Harrison Steel Castings Corporation.

  Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Alice Jeffries of Veedersburg, Mrs. Linda Rader of Crescent City, Illinois, Mrs. Carol Smart of West Lebanon and Mary M. Clark of Danville, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Jones of Waynetown, Mrs. Frances Foell and Mrs. Laverna Parsley, both of Louisville, Kentucky; and six grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Marvin Jones officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
