ATTICA — Mrs. Pearl Clark, age 86, of Pine Village, died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at the Bowles Convalescent Home at Clark's Hill where she had been a patient since March 2. She had been ill for several years and a patient in the Community Hospital at Williamsport from Jan. 1 to March 2. Mrs. Clark was born Aug. 16, 1883, at Pine Village, the daughter of Thomas and Olive Wade Fenton. She was married Aug. 16, 1904, at Pine Village, to Arthur H. Clark, who preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1966. Mrs. Clark had resided in Chicago for 50 years where her husband was a printer. When he retired they moved to Warren County in 1956 and later returned to her home where she had been born and reared. She attended school in Pine Village and was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Chicago. Survivors include: one sister, Miss Vera Fenton, who made her home with her sister and is now at the Bowles Convalescent Home; three nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, April 1, at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Polf officiated and he was assisted by the Rev. Thurman Blaylock. Burial was in the Pine Village Cemetery.--waw
