Kingman, Ind. - Elihu Clarkston, 75, died at 11:55 a.m. yesterday (May 20, 1968) shortly after being admitted to the emergency room of St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. The son of Philmore and Betsy McKinney Clarkston, he was born Jan. 14, 1893 in Manchester, Ky. Mr. Clarkston was married in Oct., 1910 to Frances Bull who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alpha Burnsworth, Gary, Ind. and Bessie Clarkston, at home; five sons, Samuel and William, Kingman Route 2, John of Veedersburg, Lawrence of Lodi, Calif. and Charles of Clements; a brother, Lillie, Manchester, Ky.; a half brother, James Henry, Burning Springs, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Evans of Manchester and Mrs. Pauline Walls of Hamilton, Ohio; two half-sisters; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son and three brothers. Arrangements are incomplete at the Weedrow Funeral Home, Kingman.
