Cayuga - Mrs. Eva Lovenia Clawson, 90, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Songer here. Mrs. Clawson had lived in Fountain County 70 years. For the past five she had lived with her daughter. She was a member of the Methodist Church. A native of Boone County, she was born June 16, 1876, a daughter of Grant and Mary Humphrey Wheat. She married James Franklin Clawson Feb 23, 1893. He died Oct 30, 1958. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith L. Kane of Indianapolis; Mrs. Mary Prather of Rt 1, Perrrysville and Mrs. Songer; two sons, Leonard of Medford, Ore and Charles of Rt 1, Covington; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington.
