Veedersburg - James A. Clawson, 64, a native of Fountain County died at 6:15 o'clock Thursday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. Belle Quiggle in Crawfordsville. He had been seriously ill two weeks. Born November 25, 1885, at Veedersburg, Mr. Clawson was the son of Joseph and Belle Keeling Clawson. He married Stella Sheets November 20, 1912. Surviving besides the mother are the widow; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Songer of Veedersburg and nine sons: Albert, Joe, Glen, Billy, Jackie, dale and Robert, all of Veedersburg, James, in service with the Army in Alaska, and Jerry, in service with the Army in Japan. The body was taken to the Fishero Funeral home pending arrangements for the services.
