Jan 19 – Mrs. Benjamin Clawson, aged 69, died at her home near Stone Bluff,
Thursday morning. Some time ago Mrs. Clawson was stricken with paralysis but
during the last month her health had seemed to improve. Early in the morning, as she seemed to feel
unusually well, her husband left the house for a short time and upon his return
found her dead. She was the mother of 3
children, Mrs. Hiram Jones and Will Clawson who live near here and another son
lives at a distance.
