VEEDERSBURG – Stella F. Clawson, 83, for many years a resident of the Veedersburg area, died at 4:24 a.m. today in her home here. She was born at Swanington on Dec. 18, 1890, a daughter of George and Eva Michaels Sheets. She married James A. Clawson on March 20, 1912. Her husband is deceased. Surviving are nine sons, Albert A., Frederick J., Billy I. and Leslie D., all of Veedersburg, Glenn E. of Hillsboro, James N. of
Brownsburg, Robert J. of Danvers, Ill., Jerry D. of Dolphin, Mo., and Jackie R. of Waynetown; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Fishero-Dickerson Funeral Home here with the Rev Bud Stidham officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery near here. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. – jlr
