Attica, Ind. (CNS) — Miss Jessie Claypool, 86, of Attica Route 2, died at 2 a.m. today (May 12, 1966) at the home of Mrs. Mary Conner, with whom she had made her home two years. Miss Claypool was born July 30, 1879, in Shawnee Township, a daughter of James and Carolyn Odell Claypool. An accomplished musician, she attended the Lafayette Conservatory of Music and Northwestern University. She taught for several years in the elementary schools of Shawnee Township. She resided in Indianapolis from 1903 until 1932 when she returned to Fountain County. Miss Claypool was the last of a family of five children. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Indianapolis. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. The body is at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. Arrangements are incomplete. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at Indianapolis.--waw
