Cecil H. Clem, 70, died at Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton at 8:30 p.m. Monday, December 28.
  Born April 17, 1902 in Mound Township in Warren County, he was the son of Daniel V. and Josephine Ballah Clem. September 8, 1937, he married Hazel R. Helms in Crawfordsville. She died May 25, 1981.

  A retired farmer, he lived on RR 2, Veedersburg before moving in July to Covington Manor Nursing Home. A life resident of the Foster and Covington area, he was a member of Cooper’s Chapel Church and the Knights of Pythias Lodge of Kingman.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William Pruner of RR 1, Carbon; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Hickman of Covington; two grandchildren, April Rose Pruner of Carbon and Billy Ray Pruner of RR 1, Carbon; and three nephews. A sister preceded him in death.

  Services were today (Thursday) at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Pastor Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Attica. -s-
