Mrs. Hazel R. Clem of RR 2, Veedersburg, age 81, died Monday morning, May 26, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Fountain County, March 9, 1900, the daughter of Jacob B. and Bertha LaBaw Helms. September 8, 1937, she married Cecil H. Clem, who survives. Mrs. Clem was a member of Williamsport Christian Church and Kingman Pythian Sisters Temple and attended Coopers Chapel Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Judy Pruner of Bridgeton; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Levin of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
