Miss Zola Cleveland, 72 formerly of 609 Elm Street, died Friday afternoon in Culver Hospital after a long illness. Born April 13, 1898 in Veedersburg, she was a daughter of James William and Elizabeth Shipman McCalment Cleveland.The family moved here when she was 9 and she was a Crawfordsville HS and Butler University graduate. Miss Cleveland taught at schools over the county and also at Arcadia and Sheridan, last teaching at East Union. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she taught the Young People's Class. She was a member of Circle IV and Travel Study Group. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. William Antrim and niece, Mrs. Robert DeMyer both of Santa Rosa, Calif, a half sister, Dora Jean McCalment, preceded her ind eath. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Bright & Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Miller officiating and burial in Masonic Cemetery.
