CLODFELDAR, Howard

Howard Clodfeldar of Covington, age 86, died Saturday morning, April 11, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Danville, Illinois, where he had been a patient for five years. He was born in Stringtown, August 13, 1894, the son of Charles and Hattie Groves Clodfeldar. A member of Stringtown Church of God, he farmed near Wabash Chapel several years and was formerly employed by Neal Gravel Company and Interstate Sand and Gravel Company.
  Survivors include three sons, Wayne of Westville, Illinois, Robert L. of Indianapolis and Floyd D. of Danville, Illinois; a sister, Mrs. Lela Babb of Attica; a brother, Elbert “Cassie” Clodfeldar or RR 1, Covington; and five grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
