VEEDERSBURG — Marilyn L. (Hornbeck) Cocheran, 64, Veedersburg and formerly of Frankfort, died at 11:39 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007 in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1942 in Vermillion County, the daughter of Orville and Elma Marie (Neild) Hornbeck She was a 1960 graduate of Cayuga High School. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Frankfort. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include: her father, Orville Hornbeck, Dana; nieces and nephews, Lloyd Chapman Jr., Kenny (Terri) Chapman, Diana (Mark) Hampton, Rhonda Chapman, Jeff (Mandi) Hornbeck, Julie Jackman and Christina (Chris) Bryant; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Paul Cocheran Feb. 24, 2007; her mother; and two sisters, Norma Chapman and Shirley Straw. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga. Burial was in Eugene Cemetery.
