COFFING, Mark E.

Mark Edwin Coffing of Lafayette, formerly of Attica, age 24, was found dead Wednesday afternoon, March 16, in the Wabash River near Logansport. He had been missing since February 5, when he was last seen just west of the Logansport State Hospital, where he had been a patient. He was born at Lafayette, November 25, 1959, the son of Ronald K. and Nancy L. Baker Coffing. He was a member of Attica Presbyterian Church.

  Survivors include his mother, Nancy Risser of Lafayette; his father, Ronald K. Coffing of Crawfordsville; a sister, Coleen Wood of Covington; three brothers, Kevin L. of Lafayette, Shawn M. of Attica and Bryan K. of San Felipe, Texas; two grandmothers, Emily Coffing of Punta Gouda, Florida and Louise Race of Hammond; and a step great grandmother, Hazel Coffing of Attica.
     Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Attica Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. Maus Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
