Glen William Coleman, age 41, a native of Fountain County and a resident of Decatur, Ill., for the past eight years, died Tuesday, March 27, of a gunshot wound. Mr. Coleman was born in Fountain County Jan. 7, 1921, the only child of Claude and Josie Anderson, residents of Covington Rt. 1. He was married May 30, 1947, to Lucille Hueston, who survives. He was a graduate of the Perrysville High School with the Class of 1938. He also was a graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Law. He served with the F.B.I. in Boston and New York for two years after completing his law school course. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Decatur and was employed by the All State Insurance Company of Decatur. Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife; two daughters, Shelley Jean, age 10 years and Diana Lee, age two months; his parents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The body is at the James J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur where friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight. Funeral services will be held at 12 o'clock noon Thursday in the First Congregational Church in Decatur. Graveside rites will be conducted at 4 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington, where the body will be interred.
