West Lebanon, Ind. - Roy Collings, 76, a resident of Lapel, Ind., for the past 21 years and a former resident of West Lebanon, died yesterday (March 27, 1966) at the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Ind. Born in Spring Valley, Ill., in 1890, he was the son of John and Melinda Collings. He was married in 1925 to Irene Howard, who survives. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and was a veteran of World War I. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ratkin of Liberty, N.Y.; two brothers, Van of Muncie and James of Danville, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Estella Ramsey of Fort Wayne; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home. The Rev. Elsworth Morack will officiate. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. The body is being returned to the funeral home where friends will be received after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
