Hillsboro - Graveside rites for Mrs. Olcie Colwell, 83, of Terre Haute were held Sunday in Rosehill Cemetery here. She died Nov. 29, in Meadows Manor Nursing Home at Terre Haute. Mrs. Colwell taught at Hillsboro, Wallace, Kingman and other schools in the area. She was a member of New Liberty Church. She was born March 15, 1890, near here, a daughter of George and Olive Frazier Hesler. She was graduated from Hillsboro High School and attended Terre Haute Normal and Madame Blaker's School at Indianapolis. She married Timothy Colwell in 1917. He preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Robert of Indianapolis; a brother, Frazier Hesler of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside rites for Mrs. Olcie Hesler Coldwell of Terre Haute were held Sunday afternoon Dec. 2, 1973 at Rosehill Cemetery, Hillsboro. She died Nov. 29 at Meadows Manor Nursing Home in Terre Haute where she was a patient. She was the daughter of George and Olive Frazier Hesler, born near Hillsboro March 15, 1890. She graduated from Hillsboro High School and attended Terre Haute Normal and also Madame Blakers School in Indianapolis. She taught school in Hillsboro, Wallace, Kingman and other neighboring schools. She was a member of the New Liberty Church. She was married in 1917 to Timothy Colwell who preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Robert Colwell of Indianapolis, a granddaughter and a grandson, one brother Frazier Hesler of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews.
