Robert L. Meadows, 76, of Crawfordsville, died Monday morning in his home. He was a farmer and bus driver for Crawfordsville, Waynetown and North Montgomery School Corporation. Mr. Meadows was a member of Wesley Chapel. He attended school in Wallace, Ind. He was born at Wallace March 17, 1921 to Basil and Blanche Hatt Meadows. He married Dorothy Stephens Meadows Feb 4, 1940 at Crawfordsville. She survives. Survivors include a son, Jim (Mary Ann) Meadows of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Roberta Swain of Brownsburg, Ind; two brothers, Palmer Meadows of Linden, Ind; and Horace Meadows of Veedersburg, Ind; three sisters, Lois Lewellen of AZ; Jewell Lucky of Woodstock, IL and Ruth Hutchin of Georgia; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son John Earl Meadows, two brothers and four sisters. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Ray Rhoda officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
