Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Miss Agnes E. Meehan, 5328 N. Delaware St., Indianapolis, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, in St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. Miss Meehan was born and reared in Covington. She graduated from Butler University, Indianapolis, with a B. A. degree and received her Master's degree from Indiana University at Bloomington. She taught school in Covington for several years but had resided in Indianapolis for the past 30 years. She taught 19 1/2 years in Washington High School in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Miss Meehan is survived by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Off. The two sisters made their home together. The body is at the Finney-Kirby Mortuary, 1901 N. Meridian St., where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a. m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Covington with the Rev. Charles Remaklus officiating.   --typed by Walt W
