Mellott, Dec 12 – Mrs. Lura L. Meeker, 59 wife of Holford Meeker, died Thursday night at the family home in Plymouth. She married Mr. Meeker 40 years ago and was a member of New Antioch Christian Church. Surviving with the husband are five children: Mannon and Ross Meeker, Veedersburg; Orland Meeker, US Air Corps, March Field, Cal; Gordon Meeker, LaPorte and Mrs. Vivian Hillman, Michigan City. The mother, Mrs. Delphine (Howard) Lively, this city also survives, along with two sisters, Mrs. Charles Gott, Mellott; Miss Jennie Lively, Danville, Ill and two brothers, George and James Lively, Mellott. The body will be brought here to the home of her mother. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Union Christian church; interment in the church cemetery. - kz
