WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) --- Edwin Lee Mehaffey of Williamsport Route 2, died yesterday (June 23, 1968) at the Lafayette Care Nursing Home where he had been seriously ill for six weeks. Born Sept. 1, 1886, in Warren County near Pence, he was the son of Kirkham and Zora Kochell Mehaffey. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. May Harris, Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Rend, on April 6, 1923, and a daughter who died as an infant. He had resided in Warren County all his life where he had farmed for Frank and Lidah Followell since 1924. The body is at the Cromer-Siddens Funeral Home where friends will be received after 4 p.m. today. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Joseph G. Wick officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
