Crawfordsville, Sept 1- Mrs. Effie Rebecca (Meharry) Meredith, 75, widow of John Luther Meredith died here Thursday in Ben Hur Sanitarium after a five-months illness with paralysis. She was born near Wingate and was a member of the First Methodist Church. Her husband died in 1936. Surviving are a sister, Miss Anna Meharry, Wingate and two brothers, JA Meharry, Attica and VS Meharry, Hillsboro. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home. - kbz
