Veedersburg – Mrs. Ora Belle Merrill, age 67, died Thursday night at 10 o’clock at her home in Veedersburg from a heart attack, Mrs. Merrill, however, had been in failing health for several months. Mrs. Merrill was born near Eggerton, Ohio, Oct 26, 1877, the daughter of John and Sarah Mavis Oxenreider. She was married May 16, 1897 to George Merrill. Her husband survives, together with four children – Mrs. Mabel Stoup of Attica, Mrs. Helen Verrill of Veedersburg; Harry Merrill of Veedersburg and Dewey Merrill of Gary. Two brothers and a sister also survive – Howard Oxenreider of North Baltimore, Ohio; Charles Oxenreider of Blessfield, Mich and Mrs. Eksa Bowsher of Frankfort. - kbz
