Maxine Mettee, 87, formerly of Hillsboro, Indiana died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday May 29, 1999 at Covington Manor Nursing Home, Covington. She was born in Veedersburg, Indiana ec 11, 1911 to David and Mary Newman Booe. She was married to Raymond F. Mettee, he preceded her in death in 1980. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces. Services were at Dickerson Funeral Home, Wednesday June 2, 1999 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Edwin Retter officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery near Veedersburg. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Nazarene Church in Veedersburg.
