Funeral services for Edward L. Mick, 64, a real estate man in Indianapolis for many years, who died Monday at his home, 1812 N. Meridian St., will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home. Private burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Surviving relatives are his widow, Minnie B. Mickand 3 children, Clark and William Mick, Indianapolis and Mrs. G. R. Hemenway of Boonville. Mrs. Hemenway's husband is the son of James A. Hemenway, former US Senator. Mr.Mick was in the real estate business in the firm of William E. Mick & Son. The business was founded by his father who was an early resident of Indianapolis. Edward L. Mick was born at Covington and moved to Indianapolis with his family where he was a small boy. He reeived his education in the public schools of Indianapolis and was graduated from DePauw University class of 1881. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. When his father died he took charge of the business and became head of the firm. Mr. Mickwas a member of the Meridian Street ME Church for 50 years.
