Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Funeral services for Robert Elden Miles, age 75, of Bainbridge, a former resident of Attica and West Point and brother of Lee Miles of Williamsport, a former state trooper, were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 8, at the Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge. Burial was in the cemetery there. Mr. Miles died Saturday afternoon when the tractor, he was driving up a steep hill on his farm, flipped over backwards and crushed him beneath it. He was born at Attica and graduated from high school there. He later lived in Minnesota, but returned to live in West Point before moving to Bainbridge. He was married in 1908 to Effie Smith, who survives. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of which he was a past master, the Order of Eastern Star and the Presbyterian Church, all of Groveland. Surviving, in addition to the widow are: two sons, Leroy of Amo and James of West Jefferson, Ohio.; three daughters, Mrs. Geneva Williams and Mrs. Eleanor Ferrand of Greencastle; one sister, Mrs. Clara Clarkson of Lafayette; and one brother, Lee, Williamsport.  --typed by Walt W
