MILLER, Ada Savannah Prowell

Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Mrs. Ada Miller of 404 E. Washington died Saturday, June 16, 1973 at the Williamsport Community Hospital. She had been ill 3 weeks following a fall at her home She was married to Laurence Miller on Jan. 26, 1910, at Franklin, Tenn., who died Dec. 3, 1951. Mr. Miller had served as Logan Township trustee 20 years and had worked at Harrison Steel Casting Co. in computing heats. A former resident of Franklin, Mrs. Miller came to Attica in 1912. A housewife, she was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church having served 50 years as treasurer of the Methodist service guild. She was a charter member of the Gamma Delta Chapter of the Psi Iota Xi. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Esther Kittrell of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; and a niece, Miss Elizabeth Kittrell of Mt. Pleasent. Services Sunday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home. The body was then taken to Franklin, Tenn for graveside services and burial. – jlr
