Waynetown—Dorothy Munns Miller, 86, Urbana, Ill., died at 4:10 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 1989, in Burnham Hospital, Champaign, Ill.
She was born Aug. 2, 1902 at Waynetown, the daughter of John and Ora Lucas Munns. She was married Aug. 29, 1925 at Waynetown to Orville Miller, who preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1978.
She was a junior high school math teacher for schools at Urbana, Ill., before retiring in 1952. She was a member of University Place Christian Church, Champaign, the Retired Teachers Association and Delta Kappa Gamma.
She was also preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, with the Rev. Roger Jenks officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service and on Monday evening at Renner-Wikoff Chapel at Urbana
