Edward B. Miller, 86, retired farmer and dairy products company employee, died Wednesday morning in his home here. A native of Fountain County, Mr. Miller worked for the HyGrade Dairy Products Co. in Crawfordsville many years. Previously he was engaged in farming in Fountain County. Born Nov. 23, 1875, in Fountain County, Mr. Miller was the son of Allan and Catherine Livengood Miller. He married Bessie A Lundgren of Rockville in 1904. Mr. Miller was a member of the Scotts Prairie Christian Church in Fountain County and the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge. He also has played with several of the early bands in this area. Survivors include the widow; a son, Clyde Miller of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Reichard and Mrs. Omer McCallum, both of Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Bennett Fulp, pastor of the First EUB Church, will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 pm Thursday.
