Ethel M. Miller, 75, 302 E. Main, Williamsport, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Home Hospital, Lafayette. She had been seriously ill three weeks. She was born March 26, 1911, in Henning, Ill., the daughter of Oliver and Minnie Dilley Watson. She was married May 6, 1929, in Lafayette, to Cecil E. Miller. He died Jan. 20, 1974. She was a resident of Warren County for 46 years and attended school at Henning. She was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church and Senior Citizens. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis White, Westville, Ill.; Mrs. Gloria Kincade, Route 4, Attica, and Mrs. Mary Ann Walton, Watseka, Ill.; a son, David Cecil, Williamsport; two brothers, Orville, Chicago, and Lyle, Rossville, Ill.; two sisters, Mildred Baker, Hoopeston, Ill., and Pearl Wallace, Henning, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Maus Funeral Home Chapel, Attica, with the Rev. Don Williams officiating. Musical selections sung were "Abide With Me" and "Beautiful Garden of Prayer." Those who served as pallbearers were Charles Walton, James Walton, Mark Walton, Billie White, Joe White, David Miller and Eddie White. Burial was in Potomac Cemetery, Potomac, Ill. Those so desiring may contribute in memoriam to the Williamsport Christian Church.
