Marshfield --- Mrs. Inez Whitworth Miller, age 84, died at 6:30 p. m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at her home on West Lebanon Route 1. She had been ill two years and seriously ill since Sept. 21. Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 30, 1877, at Salina, Kan., the daughter of Allen and Alice A. Gillis Whitworth. She was married June 24, 1908, to Dr. James Miller, who preceded her in death April 4, 1940. She was a member of the Danville Chapter 854, Order of Eastern Star, Marshfield Presbyterian Church, Ladies Aid Society and Steuben Home Demonstration Club. She and her husband had resided in Villa Grove for 25 years where he was a general practitioner and district surgeon for the C&EI Railroad. They later resided in Danville and she moved to Marshfield after her husband's death. She lived in Marshfield with a sister-in-law, Mrs. Nancy Miller, until the latter's death in 1958. Survivors include a son, Walter B. Miller of Chicago; a nephew, Paul R. Avery of Milwaukee, Wis.; and a niece, Marvel Whitworth of St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon, Nov. 14, at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Douglas Dickey officiated and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville, Ill.   --typed by Walt W
