James W. Miller, son of Charles and Lydia Pearce Miller was born in Fountain County June 17, 1859 died July 21, 1922 age 63 years 1 month 4 days. He was married to Elizabeth Lemon in 1880. TO this union were born 7 children, 4 of whom and his wife preceded him in death. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Wise of Indianapolis; Lee and Everett Miller of this county. Also two brothers, John Miller of Oakwood, Ill and George Miller of Marshall. Funeral services were held at the M. Boord Funeral parlors, conducted by Rev. RB Kern, burial taking place in the old Lemon cemetery northeast of this city.
