John R. Miller, 83 years old, father of Thomas B. Miller of 715 North Street, died Sunday at his home in Mellott, Ind., after an illness of three weeks. He was born at Watseka, Ill., Oct. 29, 1849. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence and burial will be made in Beulah Cemetery near Attica. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Eva Miller, and five step-sons besides the local son.
