VEEDERSBURG — Robert E. Miller, 75, 116 W Jackson St., Veedersburg, died at 6:27 Saturday, June 3, 2006 in the emergency room of St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. He was born May 12, 1931 in Attica, the son of Oscar and Genevieve (James) Miller. He married Juanita L. Odore, who survives. He formerly lived in the Rainsville area in Warren County had resided in Veedersburg since 1953. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Local #831 Mid Central Operating Engineers in Terre Haute. He retired in 1994. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #2395 of Covington. He enjoyed tinkering with his truck. Survivors, besides the wife, include: three step children, Edgar (Lula) Bradbury, Veedersburg, Kenneth (Liz) Bradbury, Attica, and Suzan Bradbury, Lafayette; a grandson, Ken Bradbury; five step grandchildren, Marta Phelps, Bill, Brian, Brenda and George Britton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
