Attica, Nov 13 - Mrs. Stewart Miller a well known and highly respected woman of this place took her own life by firing a bullet from a .38 caliber receiver into her heart at 3:30 Thursday afternoon. Death was instant, Mrs. Miller having breathed her last before neighbors reached her side. No cause is known for the suicide and friends of the woman say she was at all times happy and cheerful. Her husband says, however that she was subject to melancholy spells. Mrs. Miller had been busy with her house cleaning and when her body was found she still wore a dust cap. It is thought she acted on the impulse of the moment and shot herself without premeditation She had secured the revolver from a bureau drawer. The gun was found at her side when neighbors reached the scene. The entire community was shocked at the sudden and unexpected action of Mrs. Miller and the husband is nearly prostrated with grief. Mrs. Miller is survived by one small daughter. ----kbz
