Covington, Jan 7 – Relatives have received word of the death of Tom Miller, 50, as the result of a heart attack at his home in Brocton, Ill early Friday morning. Born in Southern Indiana April 25, 1893, he was the son of Daniel and Hattie Miller. He was married Feb 6, 1915 to Betty High. Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Cole and Miss Ruth Miller, both of State Line, Ind a son, Charles who is serving with the armed forces in New Guinea; a brother, William Miller of Attica; three sisters, Miss Mary Miller of West Lebanon, Mrs. Jennie Hobaugh of Williamsport and Mrs. Edith Reed of State Line and two half sisters, Mrs. Effie Vermillion of Newman, Ill and Mrs. Emma Broderick of Danville. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the State Line Methodist Church. Burial was at West Lebanon.
