ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) – Orrie E Milligan, 88, of Attica Route 3, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette Thursday (Aug. 12, 1971) at 4:30 p.m. He had been hospitalized four days and had been in ill health a week. Born in Warren County, Nov. 16, 1882, he was the son of Robert A. and Mary Smalley Milligan. A life resident of Warren County, Mr. Milligan married Esta Judy in October of 1906 at Judyville, Ind. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Robert Milligan of Williamsport Route 1; two daughters, Mrs. Martin (Virginia) Gedding of Attica Route 3 and Mrs. Murray (Marjorie) Harden of West Lafayette; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Milligan was a graduate of Attica High and had attended the University of Michigan. He was a farmer and a charter director of the Lafayette Production Credit Association. Mr. Milligan was a member of Wabash Lodge 708 F & AM of Attica and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harry C. Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
