John Clarence Millikan of Danville, Illinois, age 80, died Monday afternoon, February 8, in Burnham City Hospital at Champaign, Illinois. He was born at Stone Bluff, February 21, 1901, the son of Jonathon and Rebecca Lucas Millikan. He married Ruby Jane Gallatin Bunch, who survives. A painter most of his life in the Danville area, he had gone to school in Covington and worked for a railroad.
  Also surviving are a daughter, Norma Jean Brown of Danville, Illinois; two sons, George and William, both of Danville; five stepdaughters, Kathy L. Clark and Donna Jean Reffiett, both of Fort Worth, Phyllis Lawrence and Sally Sue LeFeber, both of Danville, and Mollie M. Jones of Guam; three stepsons, Don L. Bunch of Danville, John Edward Bunch of New Orleans, Louisiana, and William Arthur of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and a sister, Mable Remster of Detroit, Michigan.
  Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. Bill Ingersoll officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. – thanks to S
