Veedersburg, Ind Jan 7 – The funeral of Prudence Boord Minick, age 92
was held Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, Simon Minick, two miles south
of Attica, where she died Friday night. She was born in Redland, ohio and came
to Fountain County, Indiana when she was a child. She was married to Simon Minick in 1842 and
they celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary shortly before his
death in September 1914 when he was 92 years old. Six children, George W,
Elijah B, Mrs. Mary Alice Watkins, Samuel F, Mrs. Mary E. Simpson and Frank
Minick survive. - kbz
