Crawfordsville - Charles O. Minnich, 79, a former Carroll County resident, died Friday in the Culver hospital here. Born here Aug. 2, 1894, he was married Feb. 21, 1917 to Neva Downham, formerly of Washington township, Carroll County. Surviving are the wife, who resides at the Carmen nursing home, Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Cowan, Beltsville, Md.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Towers funeral home, 315 Washington St., Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
