Veedersburg - George W. Minnick, 61, of Rt 3, Veedersburg, died Monday morning in Veterans Hospital at Danville, Ill. He was a retired employee of the VA. Mr. Minnick served in the European Theater in WWII. Born June 27, 1916, he was a son of Bert and Pearl Fewry Minnick. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Gross of Rt 3, Veedersburg and Mrs. Herman (Frances) Combs of Sacramento, Calif and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers are deceased. Graveside rites will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at Parham Funeral Home.
